To ensure a safe, welcoming, and motivating environment at UREC, participants must comply with University Policies and UREC policies posted online and in the facilities.
UREC Facility Policies
- Secure your personal belongings. UREC is not responsible for personal belongings or valuables.
- No bikes, skateboards, longboards or inline skates.
- Pets (including Emotional Support Animals) are not permitted, with the exception of Service Animals.
- Shirts/tops must be worn in all areas except for the Aquatics Center.
- No glass bottles or gum. Only water or sport drinks in re-sealable sports bottles are permitted in activity areas. Food and other beverages must be consumed in the Atrium or study/lounge spaces.
- This is an alcohol, cannabis and nicotine free facility. No vaping permitted. Individuals suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, cannabis or illegal drugs will not be permitted access.
- No spitting, profane language, physical altercations or intentionally creating health hazards.
- Advertising, sponsorship and media activities require advance approval.
- Consent is required to take photos or videos of other participants. The use of camera equipment (such as tripods) requires advance approval.
- Children 15 and under may only use facilities during family hours and must remain in the company of their host at all times.
- Individuals hosting guests are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
