- The Department of Education has notified universities that the 2025-2026 FAFSA should become available to the general public on December 1, 2024. Please note that JMU's priority filing date is March 1, 2025. For more information check out our FAFSA page.
- The General Scholarship Application is now open! This is accessed through the Madison Scholarships Hub in MyMadison for potential awards offered for the 2025-26 academic year (next fall 2025).
- Complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA now through Studentaid.gov . We encourage students to complete their application as soon as possible. The JMU FAFSA Priority Filing Date is March 1, 2024, however, a FAFSA can still be completed after this date as it is not a hard deadline.
