Sending Official High School Transcripts:
For transcripts to be considered official, they must be sent through a secure provider such as Naviance/Parchment, e-Scrip Safe, etc. or be sent through US Postal mail. If sending by mail, please use the following address:

Any transcripts sent as an email attachment or fax are considered unofficial and will not be reviewed.

Letter of Recommendation Submission Process:
We have retained the same submission process for letters of recommendation as we have used in the last few years. 

Our process requires the student to submit the reference's email address. Our office will then send directions to the recommender on how to complete the submission process. Please do not send the regional counselor or the application processing team letters of recommendation directly without consulting your school’s regional counselor first.

Mid-Year Grades:
Mid-year grades may be requested to be reviewed with a student's application. While mid-year grades are not required, studies have shown that students who experience a drop in their senior year grades will often follow with poor grades in their first year of college, so it is always in the student's best interest to continue to do well through senior year.

JMU requires a final official transcript for all admitted students after graduation, and we reserve the right to rescind an offer of admission due to poor academic performance in the senior year.
