Convenient Ways to Meet Your Career Advisor

These will be conducted in our office space, located in Suite 3250 on the 3rd floor of the Student Success Center (SSC). Please check in at the front desk when you arrive.

If you did not include your phone number when you originally booked the appointment, please update your meeting on Handshake by visiting https://jmu.joinhandshake.com/appointments. You can add your phone number where it says, "Add Comment." A staff member will call you at this number at the time of your appointment.

You will need a computer with a webcam, or a phone/tablet with a camera, and you may need to download a browser plugin for Zoom (or the Zoom app on your phone/tablet). For career advising appointments, you can find the link for your appointment by logging into Handshake and visiting https://jmu.joinhandshake.com/appointments. Click on the appointment, and scroll to the "Where" section on the left-hand side. Click on this web address to start Zoom. If you have technical difficulties, you can send a message with your phone number to the University Career Center staff member by clicking "Add Comment" in your appointment in Handshake. Then the appointment can be switched to a phone appointment.
