Sarah Delia (’09) is an award-winning podcast host/reporter who chases stories wherever they lead. An Edward R. Murrow Award-winning journalist, Delia spent more than a year unwrapping the case of “Linda,” a North Carolina woman who was sexually assaulted by a stranger in 2015. Covering the story for WFAE, Charlotte’s National Public Radio station, Delia brings her audience along on the winding road to justice. Delia earned a bachelor of arts degree in English and art history from JMU and got her start in broadcasting as the programming director of JMU’s student-run radio station, WXJM.
