JMU will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6

Due to the inclement weather, James Madison University’s campus will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6. 

All online classes will meet as scheduled. 

For in-person classes, faculty have several options for making up missed instruction time, as detailed in JMU Policy 1309. Students should check with their professors for clarification as individual instructors will determine the option for making up class time. The official makeup day for today’s closing will be Jan. 11. 

Employees should contact their immediate supervisor for additional questions surrounding inclement weather operations.
