A magical night for JMU Arts at Carnegie Hall
College of Visual and Performing Arts
JMU's College of Visual and Performing Arts recently performed, for the first time, at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall on March 22, 2025.
This event, titled Where Once We Stood, was a cross-disciplinary collaboration featuring the JMU Choral, Dance, and Percussion Areas, performed to Triptych by English composer Tarik O’Regan.
A big round of applause for our talented students and CVPA Carnegie Hall Tour Faculty Directors: Rubén Graciani, dean of CVPA; Dr. Jo-Anne van der Vat-Chromy, JMU director of choral activities; and Casey Cangelosi, professor of percussion.
