Jarl ('84) and Beth Bliss ('84)
College of BusinessJarl and Beth Bliss believe JMU's future is, in part, the responsibility of alumni, and they are leading the way. Jarl, vice president for Lincoln Property Company, and Beth, who began her career with Upjohn, later changing jobs to raise three daughters, commit their talents to the College of Business Board of Advisors and to Women for Madison. "There is a spirit of generosity and friendliness among JMU alumni, but it did not transfer to donor support after we graduated," Beth says. "The great change we hope for is to influence fellow alumni. The value of alumni support goes well beyond what we all invest with JMU."
