Paul Holland

Look up "entrepreneur" in the dictionary and you might find the name Paul Holland ('82), venture capitalist, who has taken company after company from start to the top. While he was senior vice president of worldwide sales at Kana Communications, the company became one of the top 10 IPOs in 1999. In 2011, he produced the critically acclaimed film, "Something Ventured." Today, he is a partner with Foundation Capital, supporting innovative startups with a collection of funds totaling $2.5 billion. Paul also lends his talents to JMU. As a key member of the College of Business Executive Advisory Council, he mentors and inspires student success for the future.
