Dot Rowe
Women For MadisonDot Rowe's ('50) devotion to Madison began in 1946 as a student pursuing a degree in home economics, continued when she joined the faculty as a dietitian in 1951—and has not stopped. Retiring in 1990 as head of the Home Economics Department, she has never retired from her commitment to Madison. Dot has supported every part of the university from sponsorship of the art auction to purchasing a box in the expanded Bridgeforth Stadium to funding scholarships. Her contributions as a teacher and dietitian changed thousands of lives, multiplied many times over by her enduring dedication.
