Lee Sternberger

The task given Lee Sternberger was enormous: Pull together an entire university to find a plan to make it better. As chair of the Quality Enhancement Plan, Lee led a yearlong study that became the Madison Collaborative, an innovative, university-wide effort to embed ethical reasoning into every part of the student experience. Uniquely qualified, this Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Executive Director of the Office of International Programs currently directs the university's efforts to internationalize the JMU curriculum. As a result, JMU graduates of the future, armed with classical and cutting-edge understanding of decision making, will address the world's most challenging problems here and abroad.
