China pumps in $2.5 million for demining plans in seven provinces in Cambodia

(Khmer Times) Cambodian Mine Action Center (CMAC) yesterday went on the ground to check on the demining activities supported by the People’s Republic of China with a grant aid of $2.5 million on 2,000 hectares for mine and cluster munitions clearance to be implemented in seven provinces.
CMAC director-general Heng Ratana met with officers of the 4th Mine Action Unit and the 6th Mine Action Unit at Koh Ker Temple, Preah Vihear province and inspected the progress of the “Assistance Project the Demining in Cambodia”.
