Three More Provinces Soon to Be Declared Mine-Free

(Khmer Times) Ly Thuch, first Vice-President of the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA), said that Svay Rieng and Kampong Cham will be declared landmine-free in mid-February while Kandal will be officially awarded the new status in March.
“Kampong Cham will be declared a demined province on February 16, and on February 20, Svay Rieng will also be declared a demined province,” he said. “Kandal province will be declared mine free on March 13.”
