(My Joy Online) Ukraine’s “Minefield Honey” project turns mined land into a symbol of resilience. With 174,000 square kilometers contaminated by explosives, agriculture and food security are at risk. To tackle this, drones scatter honey grass seeds over dangerous fields, allowing bees to produce honey safely. Each jar carries a message highlighting the urgent need for demining efforts and serves as a diplomatic tool to raise awareness and resources.

Supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dronarium Ukraine, and the Union of Beekeepers, the initiative blends creativity and purpose. Uniquely designed hives shaped like mine warning signs symbolize Ukraine’s challenges and hope for recovery. Set for full implementation in 2024, the project demonstrates Ukraine’s determination to heal its land and inspire global action through innovation and resilience.
