A part of our Common Good Initiative, Free Speech and Our Democracy invited the President of James Madison University, Mr. Jonathan Alger, and the director of the Campus Free Expression Project by the Bipartisan Policy Center, Dr. Jacqueline Pfeffer-Merrill to have a conversation on the role of free speech in our democracy and on college campuses, attended by students, faculty, and staff of the JMU community.
