Just in time for his retirement, professor of accounting and of hospitality Brad Roof was chosen to receive the JMU All Together One award. In a recent ceremony, Roof and four other honorees were celebrated for engaging and building community and inspiring others, as well as their caring attitude, dedication to learning and commitment to working together.

The event was created in 2000 by members of the JMU Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society. Each spring, students, faculty and staff are invited to nominate members of the community who exemplify this special spirit of "all together one."
