NSMH Cruises the Potomac

Sixteen students and two faculty members from JMU’s Hart School of Hospitality, Sport and Recreation Management enjoyed a two-hour cruise of the Potomac River aboard the Odyssey DC on Sunday, March 19. The cruise was sponsored by Entertainment Cruises, the nation’s largest dining and sightseeing cruise company with a fleet of over 30 ships across the northeast. The group enjoyed brunch and entertainment, as well as a tour of the ship. Before boarding the Odyssey, they toured the recently renovated ship, Spirit, and learned about its operations. It was an enjoyable learning experience for students considering careers in hospitality management.
