CCN is accepting family applications

The Caregivers Community Network, housed in Institute for Innovation in Health and Human Services (IIHHS), offers a respite program for caregivers of those 60 years old and older.

JMU students are trained to provide weekly, one-hour virtual visits to families with a focus on fun, self-care activities, and socialization. Depending on family need, students may visit collectively with the caregiver and the one receiving care, or with either person individually.

Both students and families find these visits to be meaningful, educational, and encouraging!

Caregivers Community Network is currently accepting family applications which can be found here: https://www.vpas.info/respite-opportunities
