FSL's New Creation Presentation
Student LifeThe issue of human trafficking is complex and close to many people’s hearts. If you’re looking to gain more insight into this topic, make sure to come out to Join the Movement to End Human Trafficking, an event put on by Fraternity and Sorority Life on Monday, February 24th at 7pm in the Festival Highlands Room.
For this event, FSL is bringing in New Creation, a local nonprofit that supports survivors of human trafficking by selling survivor made items along with fair-trade accessories and goods, including clothing, bags, and jewelry. New Creation also specializes in education on the issue of human trafficking and the steps we can take to prevent it. Join the Movement to End Human Trafficking is a great opportunity to learn about human trafficking and discover how groups like New Creation are working to fight the issue. All students and faculty are invited to attend!
