In 2018 I moved to Sierra Leone, West Africa where I started working at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). I started as an intern and worked my way up to an international consultant role.

My last title was Youth, Innovation and Partnership Consultant. In this role I worked with multiple Youth Led Organizations on capacity development projects and fostering relationships between them and other government stakeholders and donor partners. Prior to that I worked as a Business Intelligence Developer for Epic at GBMC in Baltimore Maryland.

I am truly excited to join both the Youth Programs and Lifelong Learning team as their Program Support Assistant. In this role I look forward to working with my JMU colleagues, LLI instructors and students as well as those in the youth program!

In my spare time, I’m a serial napper! I also enjoy cooking, listening to music, finding new (African) designers and knitting/crocheting.
