The Benefits of Getting Your Pilot’s License
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, obtaining a pilot’s license can significantly boost your career prospects and earning potential. In 2023, the median annual wage for airline and commercial pilots was over $130,000. Additionally, the demand for pilots is expected to grow by 13% from 2020 to 2030, much faster than the average for all occupations. This translates to more job opportunities and a promising future in aviation.

Medical:
Schedule a physical with an AME. The minimum medical class is a Third Class. This medical is best suited for students looking to fly recreationally. If you plan (or think you might at some point) or want to fly professionally, we recommend getting a First Class Medical. When scheduling, make sure that the doctor is able to do a First Class Medical, as not all do.
Before the visit, you'll need to go to this website: https://medxpress.faa.gov/medxpress/ to fill out your medical information.
