Faculty Highlights
  • The 2024 Provost Award for Excellence in Graduate Advising was awarded to Professor and Director Margaret Sloan.
  • Margaret Sloan, director, professor and advisor of community and nonprofit leadership and a co-author, had a new textbook, “Financial Leadership for the Arts,” accepted for pre-publication. Subtitled "Sustainable Strategies for Creative Organizations," the book's purpose is to "prepare leaders in the arts to make the best possible decisions" for the financial viability of the organizations they represent.
  • Adam Vanhove has been selected as the 2023 College of Business Madison Scholar.
  • Associate Professor Adam Vanhove, and doctoral candidates Tatjana Titareva and Brooke Graham, had their paper, “Classification performance of supervised machine learning to predict HRM outcomes: A meta-analysis using cross-classified multilevel modeling” designated as a “Best Paper in the HR Division” by the Academy of Management (AoM). 
  • Nara Yoon is the recipient of the Provost's Award for Excellence in Research and Scholarship for 2023.
  • The 2023 Accenture Professional Service Award was awarded to director and professor, Margaret Sloan, in recognition of her dedication to her profession and discipline.
