Parking
Parking in JMU Lot R5 (664 University Blvd.) is strongly encouraged. A permit for arboretum visitors is not required.
We have additional limited parking in two small parking lots, one lot at the Frances Plecker Education Center, 780 University Blvd, and another close to our Pavilion and Family Garden. Both lots are accessible through stone-column, wrought-iron gated entry drives on University Blvd. between Carrier Dr. and Driver Dr., without a JMU Parking Permit (permit) and open from dawn till dusk.
The Arboretum and all Arboretum parking lots close at dusk daily.
There is no parking allowed along University Blvd.
Bus Schedule
Leave the car behind and take the bus to the Arboretum! We are served by request stop #212 at 780 University Blvd. by the Black and Pink lines hourly; and by the ICS bus (stop #121 across from the Arboretum about every 5 minutes).
