An endowed scholarship established in honor of Dr. Robert E. Holmes, who served as Dean of the College of Business from 1983 to 1995.

Eligibility Requirements

• This fund will provide an annual scholarship award for an incoming freshman student with a declared business major.  
• The recipient must have demonstrated financial need.
• The award recipient, while in high school, must carry a minimum academic performance level of B
• Along with demonstrated service and leadership throughout his or her high school career.
• The recipient shall be selected by a committee appointed and chaired by the Dean of the College of Business.    
• To be considered for the Dr. Robert E. and Diane M. Holmes Endowed Scholarship, an applicant must satisfy the specified conditions listed above.

Special application requirements

This scholarship specifies a “need component”. To be eligible you MUST HAVE A CURRENT FAFSA on-file with the James Madison University Office of Financial Aid.
