Scholarship Overview

An endowed  scholarship established by Charles Skeens, The Charles Skeens ('79, '80) Endowment for Scholarships in Business shall provide financial resources on an annual basis to support scholarships for students in the College of Business who demonstrate a commitment to a career in business.

Eligibility Requirements

• The selection of a student as a Charles Skeens Scholar will be based on a review of what the student has done and is doing to prepare for a career in business
• This selection process will be administered in a manner determined at the discretion of the Dean for The College of Business,
• In collaboration with the University's Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships.
• Beyond the above criteria, the appointment of Charles Skeens Scholars shall follow the University's guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.    
• To be considered for the Charles Skeens ('79, '80) Endowment for Scholarships in Business Scholarship, an applicant must satisfy the specified conditions listed above.

Special application requirements

This scholarship specifies a “need component”. To be eligible you MUST HAVE A CURRENT FAFSA on-file with the James Madison University Office of Financial Aid.
