The Music & Human Services minor is open to all undergraduate students at JMU and will prepare students for vocational and avocational opportunities to use music performance, education, entrepreneurship, and community engagement skills to serve diverse populations in human services settings. Students with interest and musical backgrounds are welcome.
The minimum requirement for a minor in Music & Human Services is 18 credit hours; 15 credits from a set of core courses and three credits from electives.
The minor is a part of the School of Music, a program within the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
