Early Project Completion Resumes Normal South Main Street Traffic Flow

Beginning Thursday morning, July 24, traffic flow on South Main Street will return to normal - a full week ahead of schedule. 

Construction crews have installed the pedestrian tunnel connecting the James Madison University Quadrangle and the future site of the Performing Arts Center. While vehicular traffic resumes Thursday, pedestrian access through the tunnel awaits further work at the construction site.
