JMU held its Virtual Conferring of Degrees on May 8 at 7 p.m. for the Class of 2020. The university is excited to have celebrated this important achievement online.

More than 4,500 undergraduate and graduate students had their degrees conferred by JMU President Jonathan R. Alger on May 8. The live stream was hosted on the JMU Facebook page and the JMU YouTube channel. Student speaker Lauren Springer (’20), who was overjoyed to give remarks to her class, said, “We’re graduating from one of the greatest institutions in the United States, and that is a huge accomplishment.”

However, the digital Commencement program lists the names of our 4,500+ graduates. Check out the digital version of the Commencement program with all the graduates' names, listed by college.
