BOV Executive Committee Summary & Media Statement

On Wednesday, May 19, the Executive Committee of the Board of Visitors met virtually and voted to reaffirm the BOV delegation of administrative authority related to the COVID-19 vaccination and related plans for the upcoming academic year, to protect the health and safety of the university community. 

Once decisions are made for the fall, communication to each constituency group within the JMU community will be provided. In addition, the same information will be provided through the university’s website and social channels.
