Chris Bachman wants to change minds. The ISAT professor understands that environmental challenges require a fundamental shift in consumer attitudes. He also understands the value of innovative research to create new energies and that improvements in energy-efficiency will benefit every level of society. So he's attacking the problem from all sides by inspiring students to explore new energy sources, to understand the interconnections involved in this global dilemma—and to make changes in their own lives. As Co-Director of the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Lab, Chris involves students in cutting-edge research with real-world challenges in the intersecting fields of energy, environment and society.
