The Struthers Family

For the Struthers family, success is not enough unless it impacts others' lives. Ric, president of Ashford Point Enterprises, Sharon, a retired banker, along with Brice ('12), Ryan and Corrie actively seek ways to Be the Change. At JMU, Brice joined Alpha Phi Omega. He was attracted to the fraternity's commitment to engage with the local community. So it's no surprise that the family funded two scholarships to support APO's community impact. Brice sums up his family's philosophy: "Be the change by helping others through selfless acts of generosity and sharing your time, talents and wisdom with those less fortunate."
