Department of Psychology faculty win several university-wide awards

Since last Spring, the following faculty have won College and University-Wide Awards for exceptional teaching, advising, and scholarship. Dr. Jessica Irons was recognized with the College of Health and Behavioral Studies (CHBS) Distinguished Teacher Award. Dr. Janna Taft Young was recognized with the Provost’s Award for Outstanding Part-Time Teaching. Drs. Irons and Taft Young were nominated by colleagues, and they were selected to receive their individual awards from a faculty committee. Professor Kimberly DuVall’s teaching was recognized with the Madison Vision Teaching Award. Professor DuVall’s students nominated her for this award. Dr. Tracy Zinn received the Transfer Advocate Award from the office of Orientation. Transfer students nominated her for this honor. Dr. Kenn Barron won the Provost’s Award for Outstanding Scholarship. Dr. Barron received this honor, in part, because of his work with the Motivation Research Institute.
