ISAT professor receives outstanding service award
NewsJMU Integrated Science and Technology professor Rod MacDonald received the Systems Dynamics Society Outstanding Service Award at the Society’s annual meeting in Chicago in July. This award celebrates individuals who have displayed exceptional dedication and contributions to the Society through voluntary efforts spanning an extended period.
MacDonald has more than 25 years of experience developing simulation models as decision-support tools for local, state, and federal agencies and numerous businesses.
His influence extends beyond the classroom. He has been a driving force behind the Modeling Assistance Workshop during conferences, a collaborative initiative that has evolved into the year-round Short-Term Modeling Assistance program. This program empowers individuals to harness the power of systems dynamics to address complex challenges, making a tangible impact on organizations worldwide.
