Dr. Guo Gains Recognition at E-Commerce Workshop

CIS professor Dr. John Guo recently received recognition while attending the US-China Advanced E-Commerce Workshop, hosted by the University of New Mexico.

Guo was recognized for his dedicated service to the conference’s program committee. In addition to this recognition, Guo also presented research on online gaming and networked with representatives from Chinese universities. 

In attendance at the conference were College of Business deans and department heads from 11 top tier Chinese universities.

Thanks to the rapid growth of CIS programs in Chinese universities, the conference committee decided to establish the conference as an annual event, affording scholars more opportunities to disseminate knowledge and collaborate on future projects in areas of both research and pedagogy.
