JMU Double Duke becomes new director of Piedmont Governor’s School

JMU graduate Joshua Bocock has been selected as Director of Piedmont Governor’s school, where students participate in dual-enrollment classes to earn college credit while in high school. He has experience as an assistant principal, teacher, and curriculum coordinator at other schools in Virginia. He believes in a personalized approach to provide students with an education that will help them towards a successful future after completing their academic career. Joshua completed an Interdisciplinary Social Studies bachelor’s degree, Teaching master’s degree, and Certificate of Education Leadership from JMU. Read more.
