SRM Outstanding Senior

Receiving the Outstanding Senior Award for Sport and Recreation Management really was a shock to me. There are so many people in our major who have done extraordinary things over their years here at JMU and for me to even be in the same conversation with them is an absolute blessing. It means a great deal to me that the faculty believe that I deserve such a distinguished award and think so highly of me. I would like to thank all of my friends and classmates for all of their support because I believe that without their help I would not be where I am today. I would also like to thank all of my professors. In particular, thanks to Neil Marrin and Ben Carr for their support and Kevin White for every opportunity that you have provided me. I have learned a lot from this major and from JMU, but I have learned even more from the people I met and befriended along the way
