01/29/2024 - Concrete Scheduled

Welcome back Garber and Dingledine residents,

We hope your Winter break was relaxing and rejuvenating. We wanted to make you aware of work on the construction site on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. This work will start outside of the agreed work time frame. The attached image shows where the construction team will be pouring concrete, early on Wednesday morning. The pump truck and lights will begin arriving at 5:00 a.m. The light will be facing the construction site and we have requested that all truck reversing (causing the safety beeping,) to occur inside the construction fence. We hope with windows closed, the disruption will be minimal and the 11 concrete trucks will be on and off site quickly. The need to start early is to allow the crew to work the concrete in the afternoon before it sets up.

If you are a light sleeper and feel these noises may disturb you, please see an RA on Tuesday evening, in the hall office, to get earplugs. We apologize in advance for any disruption on Wednesday morning but appreciate your understanding as we work to create a new residential facility.
