02/9/2024 - Concrete Scheduled

Garber and Dingledine residents,

In the attached image, you will see the location and time for the largest concrete pour of this construction project. This area is the base for the tallest part of the building, the foundation needs to be extremely thick. The amount of concrete being poured on Friday will be 5 times the amount poured last week.

To be able to get that many trucks on/off-site, have time to smooth the concrete during daytime temperatures, and allow for issues with trucks and pumps, the work will need to start at 2:00 a.m. All reversing of vehicles, (causing the backup beepers,) should occur within the confines of the construction fence, away from your hall. If you didn’t pick up earplugs from hall staff last week, feel free to do that on Thursday evening.
