Basketball Season Parking Regulations

As the 2021-22 basketball season begins for JMU’s men’s and women’s teams, changes to parking allocations in the Ballard (formerly East Campus) Parking Deck will take effect on the dates of home games. The first home basketball game will take place on November 9.

On game days, the lower levels of the Ballard Parking Deck will be reserved for basketball parking permit holders. All vehicles parked in the reserved area must vacate by three hours prior to tip-off. Refer to posted signage indicating basketball reserved areas and lot reservation times. Any vehicles parked in reserved areas during specified hours will be subject to citation and towing.

Alternate commuter parking locations during basketball games include non-reserved areas of the Ballard Parking Deck as indicated by signage, C12 and R4 Lots across from Festival, and C10 Lot across from the Rose Library.

Alternate faculty/staff parking locations during basketball games include D3 Lot across from Festival, D2 Lot across from the Phys/Chem building, and D1 Lot adjacent to the Bioscience building.
