Basketball Season Parking Regulations

As the 2022-2023 basketball season begins for JMU’s men’s and women’s teams, changes to parking allocations in the Ballard Parking Deck will take effect on the dates of home games. The first home basketball games will take place on November 7. 

On game days, the north entrance to the Ballard Parking Deck will be closed to reserve spaces for basketball season ticket holders. Access to non-reserved spaces in the Ballard Parking Deck will be available via the south entrance. Parking in the reserved area will be accessible on level 3, and will be permitted until 3 hours prior to tip-off. All normal parking regulations and permit requirements will remain in effect for faculty, staff and students. 

Any vehicles illegally parked in reserved basketball parking during the reserved hours will be subject to citation and/or towing. Refer to posted signs for more information.
