Why I want to serve on the Task Force:
I am passionate about creating professional development spaces for faculty that are inclusive, equitable, and welcoming. We must, as an institution, foster and center real, sustained belongingness for our BIPOC faculty, staff, and students; this entails a radical departure from colonial, racist practices and a willingness to dismantle hierarchies of oppression.
