Scholarship Overview
An endowed scholarship established by Lillian and Warren Braun, in honor of Carol Carter Fitzgerald '68 because of her excellence in teaching. This scholarship is intended to benefit a College of Education student at JMU who plans to complete teacher licensure requirements in the area of Elementary Education, and who has a financial need. If at any time the student recipient fails to meet the requirements, a new student will be selected based on the established criteria. Additional scholarships will be awarded when expendable-earnings are sufficient to fund the total costs of education for another recipient. The scholarship recipient will be selected by the College of Education Scholarship Committee.
