Scholarship Overview
An endowed scholarship established by Donald and Joan Simon in memory of their daughter, Julie Simon '83. Julie graduated cum laude with a B. S. in Special Education-Emotionally Disturbed. She died in March 1988. This scholarship will follow criteria established by Financial Aid, and in addition, the following criteria applies; The recipient will be a student majoring or minoring in Special Education and recommended by the Special Education department. Not open to competition. Each year the faculty in Special Education will identify a student in their junior year to receive an award for their senior year.
