Scholarship Overview
An endowed scholarship established by Alpha Spitzer honoring the Spitzer Family. This scholarship was formerly known as the Spitzer Family Scholarship Fund for Business and Marketing Education. The scholarship is intended to benefit a JMU student who meets the following criteria: This recipient should be a student from Rockingham or Fairfax County VA, who is a Mathematics or Science major in the secondary education program. The preference is for the same student to have this scholarship throughout his/her JMU enrollment. If at any time the student recipient fails to meet the requirements or when the student graduates, a new student will be selected based on the established criteria. The scholarship recipient will be selected by the College of Education Scholarship Committee.
