Scholarship Overview
An endowed scholarship established by Mrs. Mary Spitzer Etter in honor of her parents, Perry Franklin Spitzer and Emma Mabel Baldwin Spitzer. The scholarship is to provide annual support for a student majoring in a program or completing a teacher licensure program within the School of Education. The recipient must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA in their major field of study. Financial need is not a requirement. The recipient may receive the award annually for up to four years as long as the 3.0 GPA is maintained. The selection process shall consist of a recipient being selected by the Dean of the College of Education and appropriate faculty representatives from the College as determined by the Dean. This representative group shall have the discretion to select the recipient from an appropriate area within the School of Education.
