Scholarship Overview
An endowed scholarship established by Joyce M. Wood, the scholarship is intended for a student (must be at least a sophomore) seeking a career in the field of teaching. The recipient should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must have demonstrated financial need. The same recipient may receive the award annually for no more than four years. If at any time the student recipient fails to meet the requirements or when the student graduates, a new student will be selected based on the established criteria. The Director of Scholarships will select the scholarship recipient upon recommendation from the School of Education.
