Scholarship Overview

A scholarship established by the TOWN Foundation to honor the memory and generosity of Thomas LeRoy Oliver, the benefactor of the TOWN Foundation. The fund shall be designated for award to a student or students in the Integrated Sciences and Technology (ISAT) program at the College of Integrated Sciences and Technology (CISAT) at James Madison University to offset tuition, fees, room and board and material during the academic year. The recipient or recipients must demonstrate significant financial need and it must appear that said recipient or recipients would not otherwise have the financial means to attend CISAT. The recipient or recipients will be determined by the JMU Office of Scholarships. The recipient or recipients must meet the normal academic standards of JMU/CISAT; however, it is not required that said recipient or recipients be in the first decile of his or her high school graduating class.
