Scholarship Overview

An endowed scholarship established by Joyce M. Wood and Marian Wood Goodloe intended to benefit JMU students from the state of Virginia. The students must have and maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average and demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid. The recipients will be selected as an incoming freshman with a high school grade point average of 3.0 and will continue to receive the scholarship as long as they remain active, full time students at JMU and continues to meet the scholarship requirements. If at any time the student fails to meet the requirements or the student graduates, a new entering freshman student will be selected based on the established criteria.
