Scholarship Overview
An endowed scholarship established to provide a source of funding for academic scholarships and internships to deserving undergraduate/graduate students in history. It will augment the present library/media budget with additional primary and secondary materials to serve both students and faculty in research and teaching preparation. It will sponsor internationally known lecturers, authors an statesman for on-campus talks. These funds will also provide economic assistance to the student history societies--Phi Alpha Theta and Wayland Historical Society--to cover abroad range of social and educational functions.
