Scholarship Overview
An endowed scholarship established by Dr. Caroline Sinclair, former member of the physical education department and department chairperson from 1950 to 1966 with a twofold purpose; to provide for attendance of a national convention and/or a scholarship. The Kinesiology Department's outstanding senior may attend the appropriate national convention as identified by the department chairperson. The scholarship recipient is to be a student within the Department of Kinesiology with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. To be awarded at the end of the sophomore year and be continued for two years, through the recipient's senior year as long as the student continues to meet the basic criteria. Appropriate faculty, identified by the department chairperson, should be involved in selecting or recommending the scholarship recipient.
